|Executive Chef John Schulze Wins Best Entree at the Taste of Medina |

THE 14TH ANNUAL Taste of Medina County at the County Clubs of Fox Meadow Thursday provided a fine display of culinary art. United Way of Medina County partnered with corporate sponsor Verizon SuperPages to raise funds to support much needed community services to help individuals and families. This year's Taste of Medina County set new records with more than 500 people in attendance and bringing in approximately $27,000. Twenty local restaurants competed at the show.
John Schulze, Executive chef of the Galaxy Restaurant was honored with the "Best Entree" for his Caribbean smoked pork tenderloin.
This is the 3rd time that John has competed in this event and won an award. In 2003, John won the "Best Vegetarian" entree with our Vegetable Napoleon. In 2002, The Galaxy took home "Best Appetizer" with our signature Crab Cake.
